Improvements to Open End Questions

Upsiide has updated Open-End Questions to improve how qualitative responses are analyzed and reported.

The update introduces two Open-End question types, each with its own reporting and AI analysis model.

Long Open-End

Intended for longer, narrative responses. Reporting now includes:

• AI-generated themes with supporting verbatim quotes
• Sentiment classification
• Keywords and word clouds
• An editable thematic framework
• A filterable response table

This allows qualitative responses to be analyzed directly within Upsiide without manual coding.

List Open-End

Intended for short text responses such as brand mentions or feature lists. Reporting includes:

• Grouped spelling and phrasing variations
• Keyword Tagging
• Tools to merge or hide response groups

What Changed

• Each Open-End type now uses a dedicated reporting structure
• AI analysis is tailored to response length and format
• Manual export and external qualitative analysis are reduced
